RILEY GREEN: Amid another massive year of touring sold-out arenas, new career feats, and major award show milestones, Country superstar Riley Green announces his fourth studio album, That’s Just Me out September 18th (pre-save/pre-order here). VINCE GILL
VINCE GILL: Music icon Vince Gill has released A Mother’s Prayer, the newest in his year-long EP series titled 50 Years From Home. Gill also launched his 50 Years From Home tour in June, a 27-city run including a six-night residency at the historic Ryman Auditorium. A complete list of dates can be found here.
Each of Gill’s EP releases thus far have centered around a unifying idea and theme. The glue holding the seven songs on the eighth installment, A Mother’s Prayer, is a bit more subtle, but the connection is revealed after listening all the way through and considering the context. Like the other 50 Years From Home EPs, A Mother’s Prayer was produced by Gill at his home studio near Nashville, with engineers Justin Niebank and Matt Rausch.
“I think with each of these EPs, I’m working toward pairing the songs that will sit together, that flow together, that sequence well,” Gill explains. “I like the theme of these songs, what they’re about. CODY JINX: Multi-Platinum singer-songwriter Cody Jinks has announced the expanded version of his 11th studio album, In My Blood (Deluxe) out July 24th via his label, Late August Records. Alongside the announcement, Jinks released a brand new track, “Good Man,” which will be featured on the project.

LOGAN MAC: On August 14, emerging singer-songwriter Logan Mac will release a live album recorded during his appearance June 17 at the Print Shop (watch the episode here), an Atlanta-based concert and interview series featuring intimate, multi-camera performances—a true showing of musicians in their element. Hosted by Adam Blank, the show blends intimate musical performances with deep, introspective storytelling from rising independent artists and seasoned performers. The album will be available on all music platforms with the first single “Dance Under Stars” preceding that on Friday, July 10th.
On Monday, July 20th Mac will perform on the WoodSongs Old Time Radio Hour, a nationally beloved radio and television program celebrated for its Americana, folk, and grassroots acoustic music. The 11-track collection marks Tursi’s most personal work to date, capturing the songwriter in real time as he navigates falling in love, building a life with his wife, and the personal growth that comes with both. Entirely self-produced and largely self-written, Colorado finds Tursi turning inward after years of crafting hits for both Old Dominion and some of country music’s biggest stars. DON WILLIAMS: The legacy of Country music’s “Gentle Giant,” Don Williams, continues with the release of Epilogue: The Cellar Tapes via Craft Recordings. Both a tribute and a remarkable archival discovery, the 12-track set gathers previously unheard recordings found in the cellar of the Williams family’s rural Tennessee home, dating back to his celebrated 1979–1984 era. Produced by Williams’ longtime co-producer Garth Fundis, who worked alongside him for more than four decades, and executive produced by Williams’ son, Tim Williams, Epilogue: The Cellar Tapes captures the warm, soothing baritone and understated charm that fans have long loved in his music. Early singles from the collection offered a first glimpse into that world, including “Leaving Louisiana In The Broad Daylight,” “I’m The One (Alternate Version)” and “How Can I Miss What I Never Had.” Available now in its entirety, fans can hear unreleased gems like “You Came True,” which further showcases the tender intimacy of Williams’ delivery.
Looking back on the original sessions, Fundis recalls, “Don liked every one of these songs. I remember recording all of them, too. He was very particular about the songs he recorded… I think he’d be really proud of this record.”

ACM MUSIC HONORS
ACM MUSIC HONORS: The Academy of Country Music (ACM) has announced the special honorees to be celebrated at the 19th Academy of Country Music Honors. Honorees for the “Country Music Industry’s Favorite Night” will include Bill Anderson, Brett James, C2C: Country to Country, The Carter Family, Eric Church, Kacey Musgraves, Paramount + Hit Television Series: “Landman”, Leslie Fram, Mike Curb and Scott Zolke. The ceremony is set to take place on Wednesday, August 19th at The Pinnacle in Nashville. Four-time ACM Award winner Carly Pearce is back for the sixth year as the evening’s host, this year alongside three-time ACM Award winner Parker McCollum co-hosting for the first time. Performers and presenters will be announced in the coming weeks.

NO FAKES ACT: On June 18, the Senate Judiciary Committee unanimously advanced historic federal voice & likeness protections for all Americans, and the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) applauded this major step forward and renews its strong support of the NO FAKES Act (“Nurture Originals, Foster Art, and Keep Entertainment Safe Act of 2026”).
RIAA Chairman & CEO Mitch Glazier said, “RIAA applauds the steadfast leadership of Senators Marsha Blackburn(R-TN), Chris Coons (D-DE), Thom Tillis (R-NC) and Amy Klobuchar (D-MN), and US Representatives María Elvira Salazar (R-FL-27), Madeleine Dean (D-PA-4), Nathaniel Moran (R-TX-1), Becca Balint (D-VT) and Laurel Lee (R-FL-15), alongside a growing number of bipartisan colleagues in both Houses of Congress driving the NO FAKES Act.”

Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) has announced the 2026 dates for NSAI RISE (Remote Interactive Songwriting Education), set to start July 20, wrapping up August 18, 2026.
RISE is the perfect virtual program to join whether you are just getting started in songwriting or you are ready to dive deeper into the study. Each group has a set of incredible guests from the music industry ready to give insight, advice, and answer questions. There are three group options to choose from and early registration is encouraged as groups are limited to less than 25 participants and will fill up. All genres, all levels, all songwriters are welcome and participants will have the opportunity to pitch their songs to music publishers. NSAI is looking forward to spending five weeks getting to know you and your songwriting better.

NASHVILLE SONGWRITER AWARDS: Preparations for the 9th annual Nashville Songwriter Awards are underway, and The Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) alongside presenting partner City National Bank have revealed that #1 hit songwriter Blake Pendergrass, and CMA and ACM Award winner Riley Green will each be honored at the September 22 Ryman Auditorium celebration.
Pendergrass has earned the honor of NSAI’s 2026 ‘Songwriter of the Year,’ an award given to the Nashville-associated songwriter who achieved the most charting success on the Billboard Airplay chart in the Christian, Country, Mainstream Top 40, and/or Rock genres during the eligible period (May 1, 2025- April 30, 2026).
Green will also receive a top honor of the night, capturing NSAI’s 2026 ‘Songwriter-Artist of the Year’ title. With the same eligibility period as ‘Songwriter of the Year’, the ‘Songwriter-Artist of the Year’ award is given to the recording artist who earned the most charting success in the period with songs they not only recorded but also penned.
