Now, country music icon and philanthropist Tracy Lawrence invites the city back to his annual Mission:Possible Turkey Fry on Nov. 24 at the Nashville Fairgrounds. “There are two things in this scenario that continue to resonate with me,” said Lawrence. “The first is the people in need. Every year, that need continues to grow. Whatever circumstances have brought these individuals to this point are not for me or anyone else to judge. I believe we are all called to help and do whatever we can to ease their suffering, even if only for a little while, without judgment or condemnation. The second is to always acknowledge the volunteers that give their time and money to organizations like ours.”

LOGAN MAC: On September 19th, Logan Mac stood on the field of Wembley Stadium in London waiting for the pouring rain to stop long enough for him to perform for the 46,500 people in the stands during the Union Jack Classic, the first ever college football event in the UK, (Kansas Jayhawks and the Arizona State Sun Devils). After continuously wiping down his guitar from the steady deluge while waiting on the sidelines, it suddenly stopped raining the second he walked out to the stage and kicked in to the title track of his debut album “Til The Ground.”  The crowd went quiet as he laid into the power ballad that is considered one of his most stunning compositions.

“I had so much fun watching the game, and then I went on stage…there was just so many people. While I was playing, I saw some of the coaches turning around to watch me, and when I was walking out, folks were reaching out for me. It was surreal.”

ALANA SPRINGSTEEN: Following the conclusion of her 22-date U.S. headline run, the I Hope This Helps Tour,  singer/songwriter Alana Springsteen is bringing a meaningful piece of the experience to fans everywhere. Previously available exclusively on tour, Springsteen’s “Choose Yourself” merch collaboration with mental health nonprofit To Write Love On Her Arms (TWLOHA) is now available for purchase online at TWLOHA.com. A portion of proceeds from the collection will benefit TWLOHA’s mental health initiatives, helping connect individuals struggling with vital resources and support.

Throughout the I Hope This Helps Tour, which kicked off September 17 and included stops at iconic venues like West Hollywood’s Troubadour and New York City’s The Bowery Ballroom, Springsteen partnered with TWLOHA to extend the album’s message of healing, self-discovery and self-compassion beyond the music. For two decades, the nonprofit has been dedicated to presenting hope and helping those struggling with depression, addiction, self-injury and suicide find support – a mission that closely aligns with the deeply personal themes explored throughout Springsteen’s latest album, I Hope This Helps.
