A little over forty years have passed and over 8 million records have been sold, including three Gold records and eleven number one hit songs since Exile began making music in a small garage in Lexington, Kentucky making demos of their songs. Exile will now share their most current CD project, Exile – The Garage Tapes.  The 30 song, two CD compilation is set for release in the upcoming weeks.  Industry and fans are invited to celebrate at a VIP CD release event to take place in the cave at The Caverns in Pelham, TN on July 13. … Read the full story here.

Brett Young will release The Acoustic Sesssions EP on September 13. The fresh, stripped-down collection features five tracks co-written by Young from his chart-topping album Ticket to L.A.  (BMLG Records).  Young delivers the acoustic treatment to his multi-week No. One smash “Here Tonight,” which has surpassed over 130 million streams, as well as his brand new single “Catch.” New tracks and accompanying videos will continue to be unveiled monthly. … Read the full story here.

Garth Brooks has a new duet with Blake Shelton on the track “Dive Bar.” Brooks also shared that fans will get to hear the song for the first time live when he and Shelton perform the track at Brooks’ Boise, ID’s Albertsons Stadium show on July 19. Co-written by Mitch Rossell/Bryan Kennedy/Garth Brooks, “Dive Bar” is taken from his forthcoming studio album Fun and is now at country radio. The 2019 Summer NAMM hits Nashville’s Music City Center, July 18 – 20.  On July 20, NAMM is open to the public and invites musicians, songwriters, sound and recording professionals, music educators and students to experience Music Industry Day.
