MOLLY TUTTLE

MOLLY TUTTLE: On the heels of two Grammy-winning albums in succession, with her band Golden Highway—2022’s Crooked Tree and 2023’s City of Gold—plus a nomination for Best New Artist, Molly Tuttle returns with a solo album that’s her most dazzling to date: So Long Little Miss Sunshine. Listen here.
Recorded in Nashville with producer Jay Joyce (Orville Peck, Miranda Lambert, Lainey Wilson, Eric Church, Cage the Elephant), the fifth full album from the California-born, Nashville-based singer, songwriter, and virtuoso guitarist features twelve new songs—eleven originals and one highly unexpected cover of Icona Pop and Charli xcx’s “I Love It.”
Tuttle’s career, which began at age fifteen, has charted a course between honoring bluegrass and stretching its boundaries. On this album—a hybrid of pop, country, rock, and flat-picking, plus one murder ballad—she goes to a whole new place. Her stunning guitar work is more up-front on this album than ever before. (One of the most decorated female guitarist alive, Tuttle was the first woman to win the prestigious International Bluegrass Music Award’s Guitar Player of the Year in 2017, at age twenty-four, and won again the following year.)
“I like to be a bit of a chameleon with my music,” she says. “Keep people guessing and keep it full of surprises.” Tour/tickets info at MollyTuttleMusic.com; follow on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok and YouTube.

NUMBER ONE NEWS

NUMBER ONE NEWS: On August 5th in Nashville, Sony Music Nashville/Columbia Records singer/songwriter Megan Moroney hosted a blowout bash to celebrate sending her Platinum-certified single “Am I Okay?” to No. 1 on Country radio. The latest landmark event in a full-throttle summer for Moroney, the party took place at The Emo Cowgirl — the Country superstar’s very own pop-up bar at The Westin Nashville’s L27 Rooftop Lounge.
Written by Moroney (SESAC), Luke Laird (GMR), and Jessie Jo Dillon (BMI) and produced by Kristian Bush (BMI), the now Best Country MTV VMA-nominated “Am I Okay?” serves as the title track to Moroney’s massively acclaimed sophomore album — a 2024 LP that reigned as the year’s third-biggest debut from a female Country artist. Featured on Billboard’s “50 Best Songs of 2025 So Far (Staff Picks)” list in June, the heart-stopping anthem is Moroney’s second single to reach No. 1 on the Country Aircheck/Mediabase chart, following the breakout success of her now 4X Platinum-certified hit “Tennessee Orange.”
Hosted by SESAC, Moroney’s “Am I Okay?” celebration is the most recent high-profile soiree held at The Emo Cowgirl, where she previously held a fan watch party for her new song “6 Months Later” — a June release that immediately shot to No. 30 on the all-genre Billboard Hot 100, marking her biggest chart debut to date. SINGLES NEWS
Josh Ritter

Josh Ritter: Renowned singer, songwriter, musician, artist and best-selling author Josh Ritter has released his new song, “Noah’s Children.” Listen/share here.
Of the track, Ritter shares, “‘Noah’s Children’ is a song about finding human justice for an unspeakable crime. I had the rhyme scheme and melody for years, but no story. One day, I was looking at a painting by El Greco in an old art book of mine, and the whole idea fell out. I guess that I’d been writing it in the back of my mind for a long, long, while. My band understood this song almost immediately, and they sounded so good I kept listening to them and almost forgot to sing.”
The song is the latest unveiled from his anticipated new album, I Believe in You, My Honeydew, out September 12 via Thirty Tigers (pre-order/pre-save here). Throughout his decades-long career, Ritter has released twelve albums to date and earning the respect of countless music legends, with artists such as Bob Dylan, Joan Baez and Bob Weir having performed and recorded his songs.
Ritter will tour through this fall See below for complete tour itinerary. Find tour/ticket info here. The new project follows Ritter’s 2024 mini-album, Heaven, or Someplace as Nice, which he recorded with legendary jazz guitarist Bill Frisell, and his acclaimed 2023 full-length project, Spectral Lines.
